A pristine, minimal writing desk made of pale ash wood sits in front of a large, almost-black wall. On the desk, a single sheet of heavy white paper appears normal at the top but gradually transforms into a detailed grayscale cityscape at the bottom, with tiny buildings, antennas, and staircases sculpted out of the paper itself. A thin, matte-black lamp casts a focused beam of cool light directly onto the transforming page, carving out sharp highlights and crisp shadows in the miniature architecture, while the rest of the room is swallowed in darkness.
